lamont jay twiggs
Lamont J. Twiggs is a devoted pastor and founder of Assembly of One Church, established in November 2025 following his ordination earlier that year. His ministry is rooted in unity, spiritual restoration, and community transformation.
With a heart for outreach, Pastor Lamont uses his background in media as a powerful tool for ministry—creating spaces where people can connect, be encouraged, and experience the love of Christ. His work reflects a commitment to serving diverse communities, strengthening families, and empowering individuals through faith‑centered engagement.
Guided by a passion for building bridges and uplifting those in need, Pastor Lamont continues to lead Assembly of One with vision, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to advancing God’s kingdom.
Assistant Pastor
Marquita E. Ford
Marquita Hardison accepted Christ and was filled with the Holy Ghost at eight years old at St. Marks Baptist Church under Rev. I. J. Johnson. At eleven, she joined New Bethel C.O.G.I.C., pastored by the late Bishop Rance L. Allen, where her gifts and ministry were cultivated for thirty years. She later served as Assistant Pastor at Church Without Walls Ministries under Pastor Jon M. Talbert.
Called to ministry from childhood, Marquita formally accepted her call at twenty‑four, guided by John 7:37–38. She is a licensed Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ and has served in multiple capacities, including choir, teaching, Pastor’s Aide, District Chairlady, and Youth Department President.
Professionally, she has over twenty‑five years of experience supporting adults with mental and physical disabilities and remains active in community service.
She was installed as Assistant Pastor of Assembly of One Church, July 18, 2026.
Marquita is the mother of six and grandmother of eight. She is devoted to ministering to hurting and broken women and lives by Romans 8:28, Isaiah 40:31, and Proverbs 3:5–6. Her guiding belief is that trusting God wholeheartedly brings renewed strength and assurance that all things work together for good.
Apostle-Overseer
J'HONNA Twiggs
Apostle J’honna Clark‑Twiggs, affectionately known as Apostle Twiggs, is a native of Miami, Florida, now serving in Metro Detroit. Her ministry began in music at age eight under her grandmother’s guidance, shaping her sensitivity to worship and prophetic sound.
Apostle Twiggs is a forerunner in prayer and prophecy, called to equip daughters for Kingdom purpose and minister healing, deliverance, and restoration. For over sixteen years, she has faithfully served individuals and families, with a special focus on women’s wholeness.
Overcoming early life challenges, she found strength at the feet of Jesus Christ and became a prophetic voice and intercessor known for discernment and obedience. As founder of JTwiggs Ministries, she leads with grace and authority, redeeming the lost through God’s restoring love.
Apostle Twiggs holds degrees in Organizational Management and Christian Ministries and is completing her Doctorate in Spiritual Formation at Ashland Theological Seminary. She is covered by her husband, Pastor Lamont J. Twiggs, of Assembly of One Church, and together they are blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
Her life and ministry are anchored in humility, obedience, and faith—living daily by the declaration: “Nevertheless, not my will, but Thy will be done.”
